About Chada

Our Activity

We are making various types of souvenirs with the people in Kabayabsan Village particularly the housewives.

In order to create and produce products you and tourist wish to buy, we research the market, hold workshops and bring our plans into reality together.

Members of Chada are mostly housewives who make and produce the products between their child-rearing and sugarcane-harvesting.

Negros Corn Tea

The main source of income of Kabayabsan villagers is Sugarcane however, they also harvest some crops like corn as one of their staple diet.

 As part of our project, we came up to this innovative idea in making their corns in a delicious and healthy tea. Every product that you buy can change their lives and make it into a better one.

Philippine Flag Misanga

Misanga is a Japanese-culture bracelet which has been said that if you wear this mysterious bracelet, you can have the chance to wish anything. If this bracelet breaks unintentionally, it means that your wish may come true. Thus, this misanga is also known as a “wishing bracelet”.

 This misanga is inspired by the colors of the national flag of the Philippines:

White symbolizes Equality and Friendship;

Blue means Peace, Justice and Truth;

Red represents Courage and Patriotism; and

Yellow is the symbol of the sun and three stars.

You can put it on your wrist or bags. Everytime you see it, it would remind you of your precious time you spent in the Philippines.

May your wish come true and may you change and develop the lives of others.
